Sternglas Naos Automatik - my daily Bauhaus driver

Hey watchchrunch. I want to show you me newest piece in my collection. It's the Naos Automatik black with the black leather strap. Max did a review on his channel a while ago and I knew that I have to buy this one. It wears comfortable on the wrist and with the transparent caseback you can see the working movement inside.

Are there any people who have a Sternglas? Let me know what you think 😎

I had a Sternglas Asthet in white before. I love the simple design, and it has a Miyota 9015 inside, which made the watch very thin and comfortable. (I wish Sternglas would upgrade its Naos Automatik to 9015 🤔)

I bought a white dial Naos thinking it was a more sturdy and affordable alternative to the Junghans Max Bill. This was in 2019 when the Naos just came out and the date window was at 3 o'clock position, and I think a date window at 6 is better for this type of watch. Now I own both this Naos and the Max Bill, and while the Junghans may be less sturdy with a plexiglass crystal and less water resistance, it feels much more well designed. What I don't like about the Naos is that the tip of the minute hand points to nothing most of the time.

Currently having the white naos on my collection. Everything is good for the price. The only complain I have is the 12mm thickness.

I just checked the website and they released a limited edition of the naos automatik with the miyota 9015. It seems to be 25% thinner.
