Are there 3 handers with independent hour hand, like traveler GMT with w/o fourth GMT hand?

Are there any 3 hander mechanical watches that are under US$2000 (or much higher) and have a stepping hour hand? Not sure that the right term--by that I mean an hour hand that can be advanced independent of the minute hand, like a traveler's GMT. Seiko #astron in this picture for attention--as a GPS watch, of course the SSJ005 automatically does this when you move time zones. But are there three hander mechanical watches that allow the hour hand to advance without the additional #gmt fourth hand complication? (And if anyone has the SSJ005, love to know what you think. Especially wondering about the bracelet.)

I don't believe so, at least not in the way that you're thinking of it.  If I remember correctly, I think that the JLC World Timer's hour hand does move in accordance with the time zone that is indicated at the 6 o'clock indicator, but typically that functionality is attached to a GMT complication.

I was finally traveling last week, post COVID lockdowns. I was planning to wear my Casio #oceanus three hander but forgot and brought my usual daily wear, with is a #christoperward  Sandhurst and when I had to adjust the time zone, thought it would be so great to have a simple three hander that allowed simple changing of just the hour hand.

The Sandhurst is one of those watches that I keep going back and forth on.  I love the homage to the W10 and the fact that it's automatic, but I hate that they changed the hand shape and numerals to something off of a 70s Zenith.

Many Omega watches have this feature. I'm not sure which of their 3 handers do, but both my Speedmaster 57 and Speedmaster Racing chronographs  have it, and neither of them include GMT functionality.

Omega watches with the 8500 and 8900 (and maybe other) movements have this feature.

Oh good. That’s super helpful.

Right. Now I’m remembering reading this. Thanks so much. Ok, need to reset what my aspirational watch might be.

As mentioned, the new Seamaster 300 "vintage" style have this feature. Had the pleasure of testdriving the steel & bronze/gold versions which I thought was very cool 😎👍

Isn't that the whole thing about the aqua terra? that you can just switch the hour hand easy peasy when travelling?

·

Panerai offer that feature.

·

Don't Longines do a version of this movement? Just can't remember the model number or watch, but I'm sure someone here will know 👍

The 41 mm Omega Aqua terra has the quickset hour hand. The downside is that it lacks a quickest date.

GOT IT ... Omega 8800 vs 8900 ... in the Aqua Terra ... 8800 has quickset date vs. 8900 has jumping hour, requiring date changes via moving the hour hand forwards 24 hours. Thanks all.
