Hello WC!
I just put on my ostrich leg strap on my Zelos Spearfish Burnt Orange. Wow I love the look. I ordered a custom matte navy blue shark skin strap for this watch and my Orient Open Heart with Sun and Moon complication. Can't wait for that new strap. I'm a strap addict lol.
Enjoy the watch and strap!
Cheers!

Is it too forward to ask where you got that strap?

My nephew owns Leatherbound.ink
He does my custom straps. He lives in Taiwan. So it takes 6 weeks for the order. He's done 4 for me so far. Had a kangaroo, ostrich, Cordovan Shinki leather and now shark skin. Top quality leather and skins from the finest tanners in the world. Check out his choices.
Cheers!

I do love how ostrich leg leather looks. It is almost a weird mix of croc and lizard textures and somehow sportier then both. It is a great fit for the Zelos. I recently picked up a couple from an Etsy maker from El Paso. That was the first time I had even heard of ostrich LEG leather. Your nephew did a great job.
A fittingly unique strap for such unique watch! Bravo, sir 👏
Looks Awesome! Now I'm thinking I need a new strap 😉
That ostrich strap looks great.
I recently picked up a "Hemsut" silicone rubber strap with orange backing from Amazon. I personally think it really suits the burnt orange dial, so I thought I'd bring it to your attention in case you might be interested.

I love that strap! That orange accent really is spot on. Picking up that orange color is brilliant!

Agreed. After having seen one on a friends watch, I picked up a Barton silicone strap with an aqua blue backing for my Horizons GMT V2. I never liked the bracelet that came on the Horizons, and felt that the aqua gave it a really nice subtle pop of color, so I thought to check for something similar for the Spearfish. The Spearfish bracelet is great, but I'm really glad I tried the rubber strap, since it seems to really suit that gorgeous dial.

I love changing straps and then back to the bracelet. Love your choices!
