Dive Watch Pressure Test
How deep can you really dive with cheap dive watch from Amazon? We are going to use our deep sea / pressure chamber and test two diver's watch for their maximum depth / pressure! Our deep sea chamber goes all the way to 300 bars that equals 3 kilometers or 2 miles of depth so we can simulate conditions on bottom of the ocean in this experiment.

I thought it would leak before all else.
I love this. Would love to see more videos of watches really being put to the test.
This one aligns with my thoughts that brands always err on the side of caution with their WR ratings.

That was entertaining as well as informative. That couple obviously has fun running these tests. I had assumed that the seals would fail before the case back collapsed, but not so.
There's a good video out there of a couple of tunas (quartz & auto) on a submersible. They both blow past their rated depth.
I saw some of these the other day, purely by accident. They had an oil-filled Pulsar that went nearly to 3000m. 😮
