Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII Edition "HODINKEE"

Love the clean and symmetric dial, size and case material (ceratanium)

MSRP was $6400 and it's now selling for $10k+ on Chrono24!

Can IWC and Hodinkee make a Mark XX Edition of this??

Nice clean watch, it shows high quality. Stupid question: what is Hodinkee? I see that word popping up now and then, but no clue what it means.....

This is my absolute grail!!! I kick myself for not getting one when it came out. I was just discussing with someone else how I wish IWC would make something like this part of their permanent collection.

Same here!! I missed out when it was released. I picked up the “tribute to 3705” but still doesnt stop the itch to get the simple dateless pilot watch in ceratanium.

That tribute is still beautiful!!! The original 3705s are so expensive. I see a few on Chrono24 for around 30k.

I‘m considering either a vintage 3706 or 3713 as possible long term goals or a vintage Mark XII. Between those three, which would you choose?

can‘t go wrong either way. But I m leaning towards 3713 because it’s a bit bigger at 42mm and I find the double chrono more special.

Thanks. I’m leaning that way too. I think having a double in the collection would be special. And designed by Richard Habring no less!
