Buying watches in Japan
i am going to Osaka next week! First trip since pandemic so I am pretty excited about it. With Yen being relatively weak, does anyone know if it’s cheaper to get GS or Rolex there? Any shops you would recommend?

Never been to Japan, and don't know about Rolex, but was hunting for grand seikos and they're definitely cheaper in Japan, at least from the online listings I saw. I was turned off because I don't know the sellers and import fees/shipping were expensive, but if you go in person you should get a great deal. Enjoy your trip and the new watch!
DEFINITELY cheaper to get watches there at the moment, given the strength of the USD. @Fieldwalker was recently there, and would have much better insight!
Dude pick up a Seiko or a Casio/G shock at there official outlets.
