"I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas..."
An interesting thought popped in my mind about 2 weeks ago, while @Deeperblue was successfully running the inaugural WC Scavenger Hunt:
"Instead of just 'dreaming of a White Christmas' (which has little meaning to those of us who don't have snow at any time of the year), why not put a twist on it by wearing our white dial timepieces as often as possible, this entire month?
Or, to even up the ante, why not wear only white dial watches this whole December?" 😉
Of course, for those of you who have snow during this time of year, you may actually get a White Christmas. And then, for a good number in the WC community who don't have a white dial watch, this may be irrelevant.
Still, I think this can be a simple, fun, and easy way to somehow make a White Christmas a reality. And, for me personally, and more importantly, it's a simple way to celebrate the real reason for the season -- the birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ. 🤴🎂🥂
There won't be any strict guidelines for this inaugural WC White Christmas. Just post a photo/s of your white dial watches on WRUW. You can do so daily, weekly, sporadically, on any day you wish, and as many times as you want-- this entire December. When you do, kindly include the hashtag #wcwhitechristmas.
Whatever beautiful background you choose, whether indoors or outdoors, in full color, sepia, or black and white...
In whatever bracelet or strap you enjoy, whether on wrist or off wrist...
On whatever time of day you want, whether it be breakfast time, coffee time, chill time, work crunch time, chores time, recreation time, happy hour time, dinner time, about to sleep time...
