Hey Watchcrunchers!
I bought a white dial Khaki Mechanical last year, and it’s a lovely little watch. The movement inside, while not decorated, is pretty nice looking, especially considering that most of it isn’t blocked by a rotor. I’m wondering if it’s possible to source a display back for it. If it were a Seiko, I’m sure it would be a no brainer since mod parts are so plentiful, but not so with Hamilton. I think this is a product that would sell pretty well if someone had the skill set required to turn it into a reality. Thoughts?

Googled out of curiosity. 12 years ago this was unsolved. Looking forward to seeing the result if you figure this out.
The only one of these I’ve had to open was a slightly-older “Field Officer” model, which had a 4Hz movement with regulator arm and date. That one also had a magnetic shield inside, so the caseback view would be disappointing. All my basic khaki mechanicals with H50s have run so well I’ve never had to open one up.
