My Mido Ocean Star GMT is one of the main players in my collection and severely underrated IMO. The quality, fit and finish on this traveler’s GMT is exceptional, and the Pepsi variant is what sealed the deal for me. When I’m not traveling, the GMT hand is set to the time in the Netherlands so I know when to call one of my very good friends who moved out there.

Anyone else love Mido?

Love this watch. Just a little big for my sub 7” wrist.

I admit that sometimes even on my 7.25” wrist it feels massive, but I like living life on the edge 😎

I use my GMTs for keeping in touch with people do. One of the best kind of features i could as for in a watch

I didn’t know that it was one, but i really like the style of the Hodinkee one. I’m not against diver GMTs like yours, but i like the more “all-rounder” style that one has.

Underrated model. Fantastic aesthetics and the quality/PR is 💯.

That two-tone looks oh so sweet!

Thanks!

Thanks Gabriel. Yours was the first one I saw. Then the navy blue model. Decided on the TT as I have too many blue dials. I get the "Tony Saprono" feel when I have this one on😉. Have a good evening! You were it well BTW!

Oh the Hodinkee one is beautiful. My next GMT will definitely be something that’s not a diver; I just couldn’t pass up this one 😎

If the distinction between traveler and caller GMT isn’t important to you, you should check out San Martin’s GMTs. They’ve been hitting it out of the park ever since they’ve gotten a better footing on their design language. Most recently they came out with a Pepsi, Rootbeer, an a LE CNY one. The last one is probably underpriced for a watch that uses red ceramic.

Islander has some GMTs, too. They are divers but they’re really good.
