Since this is my first post, and I'm new around here... I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Gary, and I've been interested in watches off and on for a while now but have only recently started collecting. This skin diver from Dietrich is one of the only colorful pieces in my collection and I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on color!

More like this:
I really like Keaton, Lloyd, and Arbuckle for my silent comedy. I find Chaplin grating for some reason.
@HotWatchChick69 only likes color insomuch has it is reflected from the highly polished surfaces of a Grand Seiko. Some of us like our color pure.
You’ll learn that @Aurelian and @HotWatchChick69 can’t agree on anything it’s quite entertaining. I quite like a bit of colour.

That Christopher Ward is something special!

Lovely collection of color here! Any plans to add more?
I myself find it hard to stray away from the simple standard dials (black, white, silver, etc.) Wanting to branch out more, find youth again! Awesome Dietrich. Need to check them out. Thanks for sharing Gary 👍

Thanks that’s quite a new addition and I really like it. I never really liked skeleton dials before as I found it hard to read but this sapphire dial works really well.

This is just a small part of my collection. I’ve got 30 watches just now and actually need to reduce that number a bit. I’ve got this piece from Wise coming in September
And the Borealis just came today so I’m not planning on buying anymore just now.
Ok I’ll play!! And Welcome to MunchWatch!!
Welcome to the crunch🤝 colors good!!! You'll grow accustomed to the crazy around here and join right in.

Yeah, I can understand that! This Dietrich SD-1 has a sapphire dial and I love the subtle shadow underneath the dial printing. I guess you can't see it super well in this photo... but it's the little details that catch my eye
When I first read this thread I thought "I have some colourful watches!" and then when looking at the photos I realised "No, you have a lot of GREEN watches." I like green.
(I do have some blue watches too though!)
Most of mine have black dials. I recently added a couple of cream duals and some white. I do have one green dial and thats a Seiko Alpinist core. That's about as much color as I like.
I was a late starter as far as colour is concerned, but have some now with my divers.
Well, most of my watches have rather conservative dial colors, but I sometime i do go for something more risqué such as my Knot 2021 LE with its crimson gold dusted Urushi dial.
Not always as easy to match to cloths, though...
that Dietrich is sweet! looks like a Ming a bit?
You know… Never thought of that, but I can see the similarities
I keep seeing pics of that Islander… Great looking watch!
It's all about the color for me at this point in my collection.
I’m a sucker for that Longines… Thats a nice collection you’ve got!
Welcome ☺️ I like some colors. I got a red metal G-Shock and a vintage Omega with green leatherstrap and a Seiko BabyAlpinist w/blue dial. Hoping to add some yellow with time maybe a Doxa w/yellow dial or a GS and put a yellow strap on it.
Thanks for the welcome. Enjoying my short time here so far. Can’t go wrong with a GS!

That tiffany blue color is eye-catching! What watch is that? I can’t quite make it out..

That’s my fear with color… that is a good looking dial though! How often do you wear it?
Love that dial, I didn't have enough color in my collection. So I went all in on Orange #ssk005 #seiko #seikogmt

You doubled down on the color with that one! How are you liking the Seiko 5?

Seestern 300T. I was considering a Doxa and wanted an idea of how it would feel. Honestl, it’s so good I’ll forget the Doxa and stick with the Seestern

So far so good. I also have a black rubber strap when I don't want to go with the bright orange. I know its an "office gmt" but when it comes to setting the gmt hand. It literally takes 2 seconds setting it on a "true" gmt vs 10 seconds on this one. For the price I can't complain.
That red Christopher Ward is pretty nice! It's nice to have a little mix of color. Black, white and silver get tired after awhile.

Great watch! My SSK003 came with a steel bracelet. I thought that yours did as well. Am I wrong?

Yup it came with the usual jubilee bracelet. I like how it looks, but it feels cheap so I never use it.
