Just in. Kuoe Old Smith 90-002. Great military style watch .
Period correct sized at 35mm. Screw down crown. 100 m water resistant. Domed mineral crystal, Miyota hacking automatic movement. I just learned of the brand a few weeks ago and , after visiting their website I pulled the trigger. Comes well packaged with 2 extra straps. Very affordable.
Bang for the buck rating easily a 10.

I am surprised that it took them so long to get mentioned here. I searched the site a week ago to see if they were included in a microbrand thread.

From what I see it's , at best, mediocre. But no big deal for me, as lume is low on my priority list. For a sub 300 usd watch it works.
You are always so full of surprises - I think this is something like the 10th brand I was previously unaware of that you brought to the fore.

I keep thinking about getting this. I noticed you can also pay to upgrade the crystal to sapphire which would be tempting. The main thing stopping me though is shipping as I have no idea whether (and how much) import tax I might be hit with?

No tax here in the US. And shipping was free and fast.
