It really comes close… I wanted the original too but after my horrible experience with GS I probably won‘t buy another one for a while.

I‘m happy to have held out for the Jan Mayen… Almost bought an Opphav a year back 😅

The downside of the Opphav is the bracelet integration… It‘s not as seamless as with the Jan Mayen

The brand is called Straum and the model Jan Mayen. It‘s only their second watch and that makes it all the more impressive!

I see… I think the case height and dimensions aren‘t the same as they use a Seiko movement though

I don‘t think so, no… Would be surprising if they had modelled the case after an original example.
