Suggestions for Crowns on the left?

I've had a few watches come and go over the years. Not as many as some of you weirdos, but closing in on triple digits.

Not being the brightest bulb, it took me a long time to realize that the watches that I liked the look of weren't comfortable.  If they weren't comfortable, I wouldn't wear them.  If I didn't wear them, I'd sell them, and the process would start all over again.

I've isolated the "comfort" factor.  It's not size, although that does play a small role; it's crown position.

So - I'm looking for suggestions for watches with the crown on the left side of the case.  Right now I'm bouncing between a Boldr (which may get sold) and a Serica 4512 (that I love).

I'm leaning toward another Serica (5303, if I can understand the crown thing that spooked people), or a Sinn EZM3 or U50 Pro.

I loved Panerai at $4k, but their pricing has left me behind.

What am I overlooking?

Have you considered one of these? 😜

I'm very happy with my Sinn.

The EZM looks great too.

U-boat predominately have their crown on the left. (Panerai do them too)

Some Stowa and Laco models will let you choose.

Jacques Bianchi has a left hand crown, but good luck getting one. They're rarer than a Rolex.

TAG Heuer Monaco is another.

There's some Tudor models with a left hand crown.

Oris Aquis had a model at one point, you may need to check 2nd hand for this one.

I seem to recall Citizen had a Promaster with a left hand crown as well.

And there's also a Seiko SKZ211K1.

There's more out there than you may think!

If you’re into the micro/indie scene then check the Alsta Motoscaphe and the Ollech & Ways 350 CI which they can assemble it in destro for you.

But with Sinn on the horizon it’s very difficult to discard their offerings.

I can highly recommend a Tudor Pelagos LHD - that might be out of budget unfortunately :(

You jest, but gun to my head, that's the current Rolex that I'd get.

2 reasons.  1) crown is where I want it, and 2) it's hilariously ugly

I love the look but they sit on my wrist like a deck of playing cards on a pvc pipe.  Maybe if they end up doing the 39.

Thanks, that's a lot to consider!

That Alsta is short-listed.  Thanks!

For me personally, I would go with the Sinn EZM3. Comfortable, built like a tank, so indestructible, very reliable movement and they look the business 👍
