I honestly like both of them. Maybe the "salmon" a bit more as I don't have that dial.

Meh. So many collabs. Wondering is Hodinkee and the like think these will become highly coveted collectors pieces.

·

its just cross promotion to help sales figures. Swatch must have been busy with other things.

·

I love Zenith, but the 2-3 year service interval due to the 36000 vph is brutal.

Is that common with high beat rate movements?

Is that common with high beat rate movements?

For 36000 vph movements, yes.  2-3 years is typical.  Average is between 5-7 for movements with a 28800 vph beat rate.

Please disregard my vote.  My phone voted for me while scrolling and I cannot change it.

Make my vote C. Neither.  I don’t want to reward Hodinkee for being a principal cause of the market manipulation over the past few years responsible to a great extent for stripping the hobby of pleasure for the average collector.

Even these collaborations are an obvious ploy to create artificial scarcity and FOMO to artificially inflate pricing.

Just buy a Zenith without a collaboration and enjoy it.

I feel Zenith is such an underappreciated brand and I am happy if this promotes their sales and market value.

3 years is common but I do know Zenith owners who have serviced it once in 5 years.

Hi-beat is indeed brutal but it is such a joy to listen to those beats 😍

I have a Zenith "without collab" and I truly enjoy it. I see where you are coming from. My poll was purely based on design aesthetics and not what this means to the industry. But you are absolutely bang on the effect this has on the market. However, pardon my "Zenith fanboy" typing this, that an underappreciated brand such as Zenith truly deserves such hypes as opposed to the so-called over-sensationalised brands.

I think they will create "hype" and scarcity. @Davemcc nicely summed it up in this post.

Zenith has now joined patek, Rolex AP on the waitlist game. The demand for any zenith is through the roof.

Julian has been doing a wonderful job in reviving the brand!

I have a Zenith New Vintage 1965.  Even the ”base” Elite movement is beautiful.  They should be much higher rated.

I just looked it up! Classic. Did not know Zenith made these pieces.

Old one for sure; no 4:30 date window!

True that. I prefer the no-date on El Primeros.
