My first ever watch that I bought with my own money was a Casio A158 that I still have.
My first automatic was this seiko 5. As you can see in the photo, I got it on an aftermarket jubilee. As far as I am concerned, I will never get rid of the A158 or this one. They will always have a place in my collection.

Okay, this is my second watch. I received it in 1988, and I am actually wearing it today. It was my only watch for the longest time (Seiko SQ100), and then I got a Pulsar in 1995 and another Seiko in 2005. The collecting started sometime around 2016, and then gained momentum during Covid. I guess I really wasn't in a hurry.
But I definitely blame this watch for wanting Seikos. It has a titanium 34.5 mm case, is approx. 8mm thick, and weighs next to nothing. I don't feel it on my wrist most of the time, and I don't need to buy a retro-styled watch, I suppose. 😉
Mine was the Seiko SNK809.
I know gifted it to my good friend🙂
from my first salary

I bought the casioak rainbow on black, it is pretty overpriced for what it offers. Otherwise it looks very cool.
