I've long wanted a Bauhaus style watch, or something heading in that direction and while the Sternglas Naos (38mm, super Bauhaus looks), has had a lot of attention over the years, I've always had a soft spot for their Hamburg model (42mm, Bauhaus with a slight nautical vibe), instead. Finally pulled the trigger on one. And yes, that's a different strap to what it comes on. The supplied strap is fine; I just had this one lying around and it's a better strap, so on it went. Warning: it wears large because of the lack of bezel and overall styling.
PS: You can get the Hamburg in either Quartz or Automatic. Something for everyone!

Yes, at 42mm and without a bezel the watch must appear quite large. I like these rather clean watch designs l, though.

Sometimes it's just what you need. I was glancing at the watch today while I was at work and thinking, damn, that's such a simple, yet sexy, looking dial. In a week or two I might want to wear something that's the total opposite, who knows? But a Bauhaus-ish looking watch is a neat thing for most collections.
Love the dial, but as a small wrist guy, I chose the Naos :(
Sorry, got a bit of drool on my keyboard.
