Seiko 5 Sports SRPH53K - Supercars
An Australian limited edition which came out in 2021 and never fully sold - to the degree I just got a special offer about it earlier tonight - is Seiko 5 Sports SRPH53K. Folk out there who enjoy limited edition stuff (it was a run of 2021 watches), and/or motorsport related watches might be interested to know it exists and want to hunt one down for themselves.
The offer I had today was AUD$435 which is USD$295.
"The vibrant red on the bezel represents the signature colour of the Supercars series set against the bitumen black of the case and bracelet. The seconds hand features a luminescent splash of red to help keep track of time in low light."
I've loved watches all my life, going back to the 1980s. Current watchbox: Seiko, Bulova, and Casio.
Coming from Sydney, well the Blue Mountains, I've seen these come up on StarBuy discounted quite often. I think you got yourself a bargain really, now you'll have to wear it to Eastern Creek next time they have the Supercars there 💯

To be clear, I didn't buy - I just got the offer. It reminded me that the watch existed, and I thought sharing it with the global guys and gals here might be of interest to some. They're not going to come across an Australia-only release of 2000-something Seiko watches normally. It's a bit uncommon :)
Ooooo, Daddy like!!! Check out this racing chrono I came across. Has 4 different bezels you can swap out, 2 of which represent the European and North American road courses for the Endurance races. I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff and being a huge race fan I just want to say, I still think one of the greatest disasters of our time was the loss of the great SpeedChannel here in America 🥺 I'm gonna need a minute.....
I love this watch and the Australia Supercar connection is so cool
