I'm not sure I understand your point...both watches are monochromatic other than for a pop of red on the seconds hand. Whether the lume is slightly green or slightly blue seems kind of irrelevant as neither are "complimentary" in color scheme. That said, I also favor the Seiko treatment here personally (although from a practical standpoint, I don't think blue lume is as good as green in terms of clarity in low light scenarios...blue light has a "blooming" effect which can make it more difficult to read)
I think the treatment of the bezel is well executed in terms of finishing quality (and really the whole watch), but it doesn’t seem cohesive to me in the same way that their other case designs are.
I was looking forward to this release but agree with the sentiments already expressed. For me the indices are what really turn me off as they just compete with the textured dial. Also somewhat disappointed that they didn’t carry over some of their light catcher case design as that to me is one of their most distinguishing brand characteristics across all their watches!
