I think this actually looks great!

Looks amazing!

I was not a fan but is growing on me.

Brilliant watch - it's a collaboration based on an already big and bold watch and the bold colour from the brand works so well. I also really like that they have gone further than just the dial and strap and the use of titanium is a big "extra" over the base 41 Chrono. Subtle branding on the back is a good choice too. Love it!

·

It’s cool - but it would be insane if they did the case in ceramic that was teal - like the Lake Tahoe white

·

Cool watch, but when I tried it on, I started complaining about those I work with, how their performance was the reason I am not doing so well at work, and how nothing is ever my fault. So, I had to take it off.

Not sure why that happened.

·

When I tried it on my hand started making uncontrollable … dolphin motions?  porpoising?

I would not purchase a porpoise on purpose.

(Weirdly when my buddy Russel tried it on it didn’t porpoise.)

·

I think it looks like a 99p quartz watch from Amazon. Sorry.

·

F1 jokes aside - yes I actually like the far out colorway.   It’s funny IWC finally partnered with them right as Mercedes went a bit off the rails.
Anytime from last 7 years would’ve been infinitely better.

I’m not an IWC or chrono fan however, so I’ll find a different and cheaper teal watch  🙂

I really don't want to like it, but I do

They have been a sponsor since 2013, and have done some in the past... from 2019...

That was my favourite colour, circa 1986. Not sure how I feel about it now.

·

Not a fan, but I'm wondering if this is a new trend (black/grey dial and bold colors for the numerals and hands), check this out:

Aweful. But if you have seen one IWC, you have seen them all tbh .....

Not a fan.

I do like it. Might be a bit big for me; however they probably should have released it last year when they won the constructors, rather than this season 😬

As I mentioned in the thread named "IWC Announcement" I find the case clashes in color with the rest. However, I will go on record saying that I did not know the case was titanium, and in candid shots, it looks better. In the photos, I saw the bezel was not polished but brushed. I still believe the better option would be a colored case however hard to judge these things through pictures alone.

·

Well, nice case (titanium), wrong F1 color for this year, I couldn’t pull it off, but might be fun to see on others. Maybe titanium case and a red/gold colorway? 🏎 🥴

Are you a tifosi?? I'm a big Schumacher fan!

It’s cool. Doesn’t seem very Mercedes-y apart from the color way. Still cool though.

It's definitely better in person. This case, even at 41, is still a bit... plump, so the titanium case really balances the whole thing on the wrist. I nabbed this pic in the paddock during the release and got to spend a bit of time with the watch over the weekend, and while I'm not a huge fan of the broadsword hands, this is the best execution of the Pilot's Chrono outside of the tribute imo.

Ultimately, I (and I assume many of us) am ready for IWC to move on from this collection and focus on some of the other great silhouettes they have. I think next year will be a good one.

You got it!

Martha Stewart colourway fashion watch - meh.

Barely legible.

Not my cuppa coffee.  And tomorrow even less so.

·

I have to agree with what  @unseenhero mentioned in a previous post that this would probably look much better in a black ceramic case.  The blue seems to contrast nicely with the black dial, but the case itself seems to be what is "off" about this particular model.

Anyone with photoshop skills able to do a render to see what it would look like with a black case?

Your right!

Funny: IWC website says it started in '04... Mercedes website says it started in 2013.  I guess different ways of defining partnership for each.  This new watch is the first time they've made a non limited run model with Mercedes, I think that's where I got in my head it's a new partnership.

Yes I agree looks great

I am still waiting on IWC to call me back on this one. One good thing the sales person at IWC said was that the price is inclusive of customs / sales taxes. I live in Australia.
