I got something in the 11/11 sale!
I wasn't going to buy another Pagani Design or buy anything in the AliExpress sale this year, but this was too good to resist.

Well, really, what more could I need?
I put it in the basket, took it out again, then changed my mind and put it back in again... and the price dropped to £27 (plus VAT which made it up to just over £32)!!!
Honestly, even though it's the older model with the Chinese movement rather than the NH-34, I don't care for the money. I'll probably only wear it once or twice a year.
I wanted one of these "Full Black" GMTs ever since I saw Craig Fairbrass wearing his own real one in those Essex Boys movies (and others which I can't remember the names of), and now I have the homage on its way.
The Rolex 116710LN from 2010 was discontinued over a decade ago, so I don't feel the slightest bit of shame about getting a homage version, not that I feel any shame about homage watches anyway.
Obviously, I wasn't ever going to spend stupid amounts of money on the real thing myself.

The trouble with the homages though is that it ruins the desire for the real thing completely. I have so many Rolex homages now that Rolex have nothing to offer me at all. I nearly went for the Pagani Design "Air King" as well because it's dirt cheap now too, but as I never wanted an Air King previously, I deleted it from my cart again.
I can see that. If you don't care for the original, then buying the homage based on cost alone makes little sense.
My Daytona homage takes care of my affection for that watch & while I'd love a real one, I've looked everywhere & the cash just isn't there for a watch.

Great look. GMT also? I like the green GMT hand. And only 27 pounds, plus 5 more pounds that you have to throw in the giant tax Vat. Excellent. Sharp watch, dull price. Super excellent.
