My choice to travel

Going away for a couple of weeks and what I chose to take with me. Panerai Luminor Quaranta and Rolex Explorer. Neither are too showy to attract unwanted attention and simple enough so that I can tell the time.

What are your considerations when choosing?

I don’t own a watch roll. The Panerai is on my wrist and the Rolex in a Rolex case. The ones the return your watch in after it’s been serviced.

I consider only how many of my pieces can I puzzle in on the watch roll. Just returned from a 10 day vacation; managed to comfortably take 6 watches total, with 5 of them on a watch roll made for 3. As far as the watch choices themselves, i take three of the usual suspects and three deserving some much needed wrist time.

Depending what I’m doing on the trip, dictates what I’ll bring. Currently have these two with me for a business trip.
