Vintage is killing me

In addition to that awesome 1963 Longines Grand Prize I got from my drug deal—vintage person, I also got this Wittnauer from the 1950s.

Inside the caseback it’s inscripted Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co. Inc, which from my research means that the watch belongs in that era when Longines sold their watches through Wittnauer in North America. I think Longines once owned Wittnauer? This was around the same period that JLC sold their watches in North America with just the LeCoultre branding to indicate that it’s more affordable (?) than your run-of-the-mill JLCs coming out of Geneva at the time. Someone please correct me.

Anyway, I told my vintage girl that we should have an open relationship. She should see other customers, I won’t mind. I welcome it even. She just laughed.
