Nothing but the best for THE Tank

When I got this vintage Cartier Tank two weeks ago I knew it deserved only the best strap for the best experience. So last week, after consulting with the significant other on several models at Delugs, I ordered the gold chevre slim strap. It arrived today and I am loving it. I could not endorse Delugs enough.

I already had a positive experience with Delugs, having bought one of their pricier black shell Cordovan for my Glashutte.

I also got my significant other a strap for her Longines at the same time while we were vacationing in Singapore last June so I wasn't worried about quality. The advantage too of having been to the Delugs showroom in Singapore was they fitted our wrists so the lengths of the straps were just right. That means I knew exactly what length to order, how it will fit me, etc.

So here is the Cartier Tank made even more splendid and awesome on a Delugs strap. Delugs straps are very pricey as far as straps go. I don't actually see myself buying them for all my dress watches and will reserve them for the truly special. I really wanted one for my 1940s Jaeger LeCoultre Aviator but it has 16mm lugs and the smallest Delugs carry is 17mm. C'est la vie, am I right?

Not watch related and I don't mean to put you on the spot but is Clive Barker a common name where you're from or are you THE Hellbound Heart Clive Barker?

Ah. You made me believe for a second in a slightly magical world where Clive Barker is a watch enthusiast.

@CliveBarker1967 Sorry, was rereading this and it might not have come across as the banter I intended. I hope this isn't as offputting as it reads. I don't do emojis, which seriously limits my Internetspeak.
