My desk chair

...is rolling awfully fast today. #wruw

I have no idea why I love chronographs so much. I don't time anything beyond the occasional pour-over, but something about the dial design with the additional registers.

Love it!! This is on my shortlist.

What is it about chronographs? I just pulled the trigger on a Flightmaster 15 minutes ago. Figured I should get one while the gettin’s still good, but other than that I have no idea why.

(Other than, you know, Flightmasters being badass.)

Chronographs are my favourite complication as well (I have 10 in my collection), and I tend to prefer the look of the two register chronos over those with 3 registers. That Hamilton Intramatic is one of the best looking chronographs ever in my opinion.  One of mine is the Speedmaster Racing white dial coaxial 2 register which looks quite similar, but every time I see an Intramatic like yours, I think about adding one to my collection.

One of the things that I personally like about chronographs is the fact that you get an opportunity to interact with the watch. With most other watches, the only interaction is setting the time and/or winding the watch. There's something about the fact that you can control what the watch does that appeals to me.

SNA411. Maybe one day I’ll be able to afford an Omega, but it is not this day.

Haha - we are on the same wavelength for sure! I also tend to prefer the 2 register version as well.

Totally agree on the interaction part - while I literally time nothing, I use the chrono functions all time just to see the sweep of the timer and feel of the pushers. Maybe in that case I time everything, haha... who knows!

I'll have to do a deep drive on the Speedy you mentioned - I am betting just another excuse to eBay hunt and burn a hole in my wallet. 😂

Lusted is the key word - before getting it, lots of long nights watching YT reviews on this piece.

There is nothing sharper than a Panda or Reverse Panda Chrono. I totally get it and I to never time anything with them.

I love my Seagull 1963, and I find the timer very useful, especially when pulling espressoshots😎 though a seconds hand on a normal watch is just as good😀
