Certainly looks like it would make for interesting video material. Not sure whether it will be worth anything beyond that, though. 

If it were smaller, it would be a perfectly normal unoffending watch.  The grave sin of Daniel Wellington is overpromising on design and build quality while underdelivering.

It actually doesn't look terrible. I just wish they weren't so overpriced for what you get. There is NO value for money. 

I bet that's a Rolex alternative...

Please tell me there's actually a date underneath that cyclops lense. Because from that angle there doesn't appear to be and, frankly, nothing would surprise me.

It’s not the worst looking thing out there, this one seems relatively tame, but i still wanna hear about the closer inspection.

Almost every time I don’t care, but this is one of the few logos i don’t enjoy. It’s just about the ignorant reversed D, as if they think they’re so clever for turning a letter around. You don’t look clever, you just look like a vapid, wannabe revolutionary, millenial.

Lookswise, it is almost as good as my £3.57 Wokai.

Seems to me that the only market would be for old Men with bad eyesight.💸

Isn't this the circle where it's unmentionable? =) Although, I do think the folks on watchcrunch are much nicer than the folks are r/watches. I'm pretty sure they're the same people, too.

Is that the new "Iconic Link Automatic" that lists for $459? It sounds like an OK watch with 316L stainless steel, 40mm diameter, 20mm lugs, sapphire crystal, luminous markers/hands... but that price for a Miyota 8215 seems quite steep... Timex would list it for $150 less and have it perpetually on 20-30% discount.

In all fairness, it looks decent as a watch, so DW is moving in the right direction I suppose? 🤔

The sad part is many people I know adore DW, especially females. I tried warning them about the cheap quality and insane mark up but they are just too happy with the design and willing to pay almost $100-150 for them.
