Alpinists Dial

Hello everyone, after I did a poll this forum some time ago, I finally decided to buy the Seiko Alpinist. I've never seen these alpinists in the real world, I've only seen them on the internet. Want to know and ask for advice from you, as well as experiences for those who have wear it, which dial is more versatile and easy to read for everyday use. Thanks

You can never go wrong with any Alpinist I think.👌

I strongly recommend that you take the effort to see them in person because they don't look like the stock photos in reality.

The green is most legible dial, the forest green dial with the polished gold contrast works really well. It is versatile to a point and the dial can appear darker under low light.

There is also black dial variant with different indices that come on a bracelet. The watch has plenty AR coating so general legibility won't be an issue.

Green🥰

I owned the SBP121 for a few months. It’s a beautiful watch but the rotating compass bezel kinda irritated me, it was always misaligned with regular wear. Plus I found zero practical use for it, just something to consider. As it turns out, the Baby Alpinist is much more my style.

I would love one of these myself, and I would definitely go for the green, stunning watch.

First time I saw an Alpinist in the metal I was surprised how expensive they look. Class act

I’m partial to green.

White dial green markers look the best to me.

I went full baller, with a watchgecko 2 tone 🥳

Should have gone for the smaller clasp as I get the zulu diver clasp on it, it does balance our nicely. they are small & pretty little things, shown on 8" wrist

Thank you for all the responses. I finally pulled the trigger and bought the spb121.

I bought it for 500 USD in almost like new condition. The first time i saw it i was surprised because the watch looked a bit smaller than the watch I usually wear.

The dial is very beautiful and the watch is comfortable

The factory strap was very horrible and i immediately replaced it with another leather strap
