HZ.01 Review:

Before this watch, I owned only two quartz watches but one is a vintage GP352 and the other is the OmegaxSwatch moonswatch, so this is my first “normal” (GADA) quartz watch. Ok, not so normal because titanium makes it special. The watch has some unusual characteristics besides the material. The dial, with the circular brushing pattern looks really nice and the raised white on blue sector numerals. The hands are also very original. The first problem is Lume coating. Super luminova is not enough. Rt is almost impossible to read at night. I don´t even know if numerals are also coated. I like a lot the day window, but the date is useless for someone of my age (to small) The medallion with the logo in the back looks great, even better than design pictures. So very nice to look at. The second problem, according to my expectations, is the crown. I don’t like the colour of the crown (is it steel?) the colour difference between the watch and the crown impacts my OCD. Wearing the watch is great. you really forget you are using it. the strap is not fantastic but good. the buckle looks very nice. In summary a great warch for the price but with minor improvements for the next batch. I hope this is just the first of more designs of HZ watches.

I have just read at HZ web site the new batch will improve some of my concerns about the watch. Lume and date window size is exactly what I think, but screw down crown for this type of watch is nos necessary but match watch and crown colour is a must. Congratulations.

Thanks for the review Alejandro - really appreciate your support!

The crown is also titanium, however is polished when compared to the brushed case which may make it stand out a bit more, definitely a good observation and noted for future designs!
