Is it too big for me? Can’t decide 😳

My Tissot Gentleman. Love it, I think it is beautiful, and it extremely well made, precise and comfy on the wrist. But is it too big? Because of the relative long lugs?🤷🏼‍♂️

honest opinion - not 'too' big, but looks like maximum size I'd go for for your wrist size. If you want it to be your dress watch, I'd recommend getting something smaller. If you plan to use it more casually, go for it if you love it. Looks good.

Thanks!! I agree full heartedly 👌🏻. Good point! It is for more dress/casual use. if I want to go on the more complete classic dressy look, I wear my Frédérique Constant.

Lookin’ good!

Thank you mate😊

·

If it was a dress watch I would of said big. For sports watches I don't mind if takes over my whole arm.

·

Looks fine to me, but going any bigger with the lug-to-lug is something I'd advise against. The Gentleman's case - and especially the lug tips - are an acquired taste. I'd wear it.

·

Looks fine to me. I'm comfortable with anything under 50mm lug to lug and the 48mm of the Gentleman is perfect IMO.

·

I’m going with yes, but don’t let me stop you.

·

I'd say yes, but I think that the overwhelming majority of modern watches are too big for anyone, so I'm not in line with the modern aesthetic.

·

Looks about perfect to me.

·

Thanks everyone 🙏🏻! Extremely useful and eye opening comments ☝🏻

Looks great. What is your wrist size?

Yea I completely understand how you feel. I am struggling with the length of my new Longines Spirit. The almost 50mm lug to lug on my 6.75" wrist makes the watch not fit how I prefer.

·

I t looks a little large but not crazy large. 😅 Unfortunately, photos don’t always tell the story. 🤷‍♂️Can you share your wrist circumference and the watch dimensions?

·

Nope.  .

·

Next time try another nicer or similar like a Tissot smaller size and compare it. I made that horrible mistake at first I nose dive in getting watches and van dam doosh bag! Keep in mind that you want a watch that looks and fit perfect. I be honest looks a slight big on you. As long that you happy thats what matters the most because you that one thats wearing it.

·

Good looking watch. Enjoy!

·

No. Do exercises to make your wrist more muscular if you are worried.

·

Looks great! Rock it! 😎

·

I think your good, funny it seems Tissot's always gives people second thoughts when they try them on.

·

Wear anything with enough confidence and you will start a trend. Looks teriffic!

·

To ask the question is to answer it.

Or not.  Photos always make watches look larger.

Looks good to me.

·

I don’t know if this is any help but if you have to ask that question you should probably look for something you really love

·

I think it looks superb. Don’t dwell on the size too much……just enjoy the experience of wearing a wonderful watch.

·

Nice fit!
