First Post where all it begin

My first functional watch was Casio F91 alike series that is armed with a lot of function and is like a ultramarathon that goes through all weather conditions.

I never imagine myself to embark this journey till a few events happened. I am glad that all it happened and it directed me to where I am now.

My first collection for automatic watch is Seiko SARB033 which is the first luxury watch that my wife gave me based on her friend recommendation who is working in local AD shop.

It has been my daily watch as it a keepsake that someone precious gave me. I didn’t know the value in terms of any investment or quality as I just purely use it as a normal watch and I do loved it greatly as it is a classic watch. To my astonishment it encompasses of some GS parts in it, despite I have been wearing for years, the battery reserve and accuracy is in tip top condition.

Thereafter my wife sell me the idea of investing in watches which I do not see the value initially but since I was given the opportunity, I decided to get my first Rolex Wimbledon and it’s just so nice to have it.

But still that didn’t make me to decide to get more watches as we only have a pair of wrist and realistically we only wore one at one point of time. It was only when my best friend whom Dad was a collector and not lavishing getting a lot of pairs but bought as a heirloom as time is precious and passing down the milestone of achievements from his dad had been quite impactful.

To me I also would love to have a heirloom to be handed down which carries down to my kids and to the generation down the line as a good keeper that time is precious and we should valued it greatly.

This made me to read up more and I start to look at various watches that are within the affordable range.

I am not a luxury watch expert and I merely a watch appreciator whom will grab the precious timepiece which caught my attention which I feel that matches my style. I did not go into deeply into the movement types which are quite complex and usually go ahead with quick read up.

I am glad to create my first post with this masterpiece from Grand Seiko GMT revolutions 9 spring drive mistflake another colour variant to snowflake family which I purchased during our first family trip of 4 to Japan without others support.

There are other limited pieces available but I decided to go with this which is a good pair as GMT where allow me to always keep one specific Timezone that is call home where my family and/or important friend is at. It is a traveller watch which I will wear on a daily basis and it reminds me of Strive harder and have more memorable trips in the future.

There are other few timepieces I purchased which I love as well which I will rotate on a daily basis. Thank to my bff, I am invited to join this community to learn more from each members and also to document my journey here. Have a great day and looking forward to meet like minded individuals.
