The 90s is the last decade that that could be covered under the #vintage tag. Accordingly, the 90s puts and end to this serie.
An era that gave us the World Wide Web and Google. A fountain of knowledge easy to reach. It was the time when apartheid had to go and the former ”terrorist” Nelson Mandela came to power and showed South Africa, and the world, what true forgiveness was all about.
The 90s was also a time with terrible multiple wars within the European borders when Yougoslavia was dismantled into a number of sovereign states.
One of the worlds most successful TV series, Friends, was introduced and in Micke Mouse Club a later famous actor, that @chronotriggered blame the price development of vintage Omegas for, made his first appearance on the TV screen.
If you have a watch from the 90s in your collection don’t hesitate to share.
I collect new as well as vintage. I have a weak spot for 50s and 60s Omegas. Besides from those I consider myself allround.

I've only got one watch from the 90s, this Girard-Perregaux Richeville 2750 Chronograph, with a tonneau shaped case. I really like the way that this blue dial can appear black depending on the lighting conditions.
My particular one is an early 2000’s one, but the model came out in 1999.

Yeah, the 90's are a real miss in my collection. The quartz Seiko is comfortable and legible and I still can't be made to care. The Fossil is an abomination.

The 90s: when 2 toned watches were the rage with all the Yuppies. Mine is from the early 90s and was my daily wearer and only watch for 2 decades. Unfortunately, my son has no interest in watches so he won't be inheriting it like my watch's twin above. Hope the watch bug skips to the next generation so I can pass my watches to a grandchild too.
