Man, did I really miss the 30's, 40's and 50's 😲??? I will post a few for the 60's and will include some PATENT info as well 😃🙌!

Here is my one watch from the '60s, a Bulova 30 jewel automatic from my birth year, 1965. It's more than a bit beat up, but it still keeps good time.

This is my Omega that got me into watchcollecting. I inherited it from my grandfather who got it for 20 years of service in the local mining company in -69. Don't know if it's made the year my grandfather got it as a gift, but I guess so.

Very clean dial. I have a Tissot, from my father, with a design reminding of yours. Don’t know from what year but probably late 60 or early 70.

Nice, I bet the Tissot looks good too.🍻 I had to service mine when I got it, it was pretty banged up. The crystal and the crown is replaced, and one index had fallen off. I think something in the movement as well was replaced, I forget..🤔 

Well, yes it is nice looking but yours is in a much better shape.

My contribution will be 3 samples of the Omega Constellation. From left is the 14393 61 SC from 61/62. A Pie Pan with a tropicalized dial. In the middle my favourite model, the 168.005 with it’s very sharp edges in the 12 facetted dial. This one is from -68. To the right the C shaped 168.029 from -69.

Nice. There is a lot of knowledge on the forum. Hopefully someone can fill in.

The 1960's was also time when Seiko decided to go up against the Swiss.

I too am a child of the '60's, although not as old as @TonyXXX . When my little sister was born in 1970 my father traded in this car (not the actual car, but same model) for a station wagon for his growing family:

I agree with @WatchYourIntruder that watch design reached its apogee in this decade. There have been many great designs since, but the watches of this era were beautiful. In this decade design streamlined, swords became batons, daggers became sticks, numerals gradually faded away. Function began to dictate form,

except for West End who had been making the exact same watch for three decades. Only the movement and case date this from the 60's.

Here are some non-runners that wait their turn in the queue to see a watchmaker. Or maybe not. Each are as common as sand on a beach. The Waltham was made ten years after the company was defunct and was just a name put on a cheap Swiss watch. The Helbros was made for about a decade, always the same 7 jewel movement. They sit in the Drawer of Shame.

My love of 60's style begins with a watch that I can't show you. I was not an Instagram influencer and did not take daily wrist shots.  It went to the watchmaker this time last year. It is my grandfather's 1966 Omega Seamaster DeVille. I wore it as a daily for almost a decade. Shame on me.  I didn't baby it and only use it in a long rotation. I will when I get it back.

I do not have a watch form the era proper, but my daily is inspired (and essentially a reissue) of a watch from 1969. Hamilton's Chronograph H is not exactly a 1:1 but if I went back in time I feel like it would blend right in. Especially since it really is only 1mm bigger than the one that it was based on. With that in mind if I could own any Chronograph form the 60's I would be a very happy man! Speedmasters of course still something I could obtain one day I would be super pleased with one from the 60's. Lovely watches btw to you all and OP
