Reverso Tribute Enamel Hokusai ‘Amida Falls”

JLC has introduced a new Reverso. Probably nothing we can get our hands on even if we want to. Produced in a true limited edition of 10 pieces. I just think it is an great looking watch with hand-enammeled backside. A tribute to Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. The model is called Reverso Tribute Enamel Hokusai ‘Amida Falls’ after one of his most famous work. Enjoy!

EDIT There is a link in the NEWS section on the forum with an article about the release.

Don't be surprised if @Scaramanga doesn't drop a nonchalant wrist shot into an upcoming WRUW.

·

(sigh) Maybe one day….

·

@JourneID any chance u can get me one? 😂

·

Wow, what a stunner, the pattern and lightplay on the dial is superb, nice radial texturing on the inside and beautiful artwork! (But I would not be able to afford it and I am not into rectangular watches anyway...)

·

OMG!! Can I sell one of my kidneys for one??

·

Yeah, that's outta my league for sure! Beautiful... 🤑

If you through it in on top of @Ichibunz kidney I think we are alright.

Just gorgeous. I love my Duoface, but would be very happy with this piece as well.

·

Reversos are so cool. I've had it on my list for a while, because I saw Pierce Brosnan wearing one in the Thomas Crown Affair (Remake), and it's sublime!

Ten pieces?  Who cares.  I wish media would stop giving attention to these limited edition gifts to exclusive customers.  There’s no effect it can have on anyone’s collection beyond those 10.  It’s irrelevant to literally everybody else.

I think nice art can be appreciated even if you can’t get them. There is one, two or more original paintings I like even if there is just one of them

It’s not like we’re going to see these things in the Met, the Louvre or the Guggenheim.  It’s just another pretty watch that nobody can get in a crass attempt to build brand caché.  Artificial scarcity is so transparent in today’s market, I’m genuinely sick of it.

I agree.  A limited edition piece should at least provide the opportunity to acquire one, even if it's very remote.

Stunning piece ! 😍 But near impossible to own one. The green dial and the enamel painting is just beautiful. Probably won’t even get to see the actual watch..can only dream 🤣
