My SOTC - Watchbox 1(3)

One of my favourite watch related videos on YT is the SOTC. I will never do one. But there where quite a few posts of collections last week here on WC. @Candide3693 and @Aurelian and others showed theirs. Even if I appreciate a watch I think a collection gives an extra dimension. A single watch is part of a bigger picture. So inspired of these examples I will do one also. Or 3 rather. I have 3 watchboxes and will do them separately. A bit contradictional to a proper SOTC to show part of a collection but I want my Content creator badge😎.

So this is my first out three boxes which I could call ”the modern one” even if the Speedmaster reduced is from 1991. I took my C63 off for 5 minutes to shoot the picture.

Nice first part! I especially like the Longines Chronometer.

Thank you. One of my later purchases. Would be great now in summer but right now I ”have to” stick with the C63.

I really like the heuer cv2113 reference for its more modern size than the 36mm. do u have any issues with that watch movement which i think is modular chrono instead of the lemania 861 in the re edition or the valjoux 72 in the original 36mm version.

No, no problem during my ownership. It served me well. Bought it pre loved and I don’t have any service history. So far so good👍

It's a very well rounded collection I can really appreciate.

The C63 can be on my wrist for a veeery long time😉. See you on the battlefield.

I rarely say this, but everything in that box I like a lot!

·

I like that Tri-Compax Carrerra....a lot.

·

Awesome! I’m actually going to start sorting out my collection per box. I have special box in mind for my porcelain/enamel dials 😁

·

I also have a C63 GMT and BB58. You'd be hard pressed to find a better pairing for $5,000.

·

Great collection, there are a few pieces there that I aspire to add to my own collection. I love especially how each watch is from a different brand. Thanks for sharing!

·

Lovely part 1 to your collection - a lot of heat in that box 🌶🔥 I think that is the SPB143 on the far right - if so, do you find yourself pulling that or the BB58 out more often? Looking forward to seeing more!

·

Thank you. The C63 has been my best, and only, friend this last week. During this period I haven’t found anything to complain about. Bracelet and straps, both looks just fine. Your choises of green looks great. I have not seen or tested the Baltic IRL.

Thank you. I will not keep that ”single brand” sample for upcoming boxes. I have my favourites.

Quite even I would say. Both are round 60s homages but the SPB feels more modern with it’s colorway and design language. Depends on my mood for the day.

Tastefully assembled from TAG to Turdor. I haven't been in game long enough for multiple watch boxes but this is well done. Looking forward to the rest.

·

Very solid (part of) collection. Of course I like the CW, but that Tudor... oh that Tudor. Keeps calling me.

Yes, the BB58 is great. You have the Explorer. I think those two make a great pair.

I agree. I'm very tempted but my wife keeps telling me she likes de Lorier Neptune better. Oh well... 😜

Loving  the speedy on a black strap and white face. Sooo versatile,  Your whole box is great.

Thank you. The strap is actually a dark grey one but the photo doesn’t show that properly.
