My GMT slot is filled- Thank you for all great suggestions!

I bought myself my first GMT. I seeked suggestion from you great people, and suggestions I got. Plenty of them. Thank you very much all for investing your time in helping me out. In the end I decided to go with the Christopher Ward Sealander C63 in white. It arrived today and the first impression is very positive indeed. Crisp and summerfresh in a (for me) perfect size.

In my evaluation I decided that I wouldn’t spend more than ca 1K Euro for my first GMT. When it came to colorscheme I saw two path. Either the classic blue and red bezel on a black dial or something with a white dial. For the classic look I really liked the Lorier Hyperion suggested by @wilfried @ playboyheafner and @oseberg and the Baltic Aquascaphe suggested by @celinesimon

I decided to go for a white dial where the Sealander was on my radar already, and supported by many. But it was challenged by Humboldt GMT by Oak & Oscar suggested by @mpower5266.

Now I’m looking forward to really test this new gem out, many days in a row. Yeah, right, there is some challenge going on sais @aurelian.

Thank you. My first CW but I’m been interested in their design for quite a while. This one feels solid👍

Thanks! Good luck with your GMT hunt. Saw that you were looking around 500 mark. Seiko just released Seiko5 GMTs.

You're looking at this the wrong way -- your office GMT slot is filled.  Now you need to look for a traveler's GMT! 😉

Glycine has a nice Pepsi homage for $649 on Ashford if you can swing the extra for a Swiss Made auto with a 200M WR rating.

Great choice mate. CW make beautiful, solid watches for the price. I have the 3 hander in the same colour scheme and it's a stunner that I can dress up or down depending on straps and your's will be no different. Their bracelets are exceptional with the on-the-fly adjustments, something you would normally pay thousands more to have 💯

So is this you're watch for the month? If so you should find it easy to put this CW on the wrist quite easily for any length of time 😉

A beauty indeed! Congrats, bud, and enjoy! 🍻

I will try to do so👍

Thank you! You advocated CW in my initial post so in that way you are part of my decision. Yes I think the C63 is a suitable choise in the challenge. Not only is it new to me. The white color gives it a vibe of summer and sport. I’m full of confidence😎

Nice! looking forward for any update on your experience with it. I’m also currently looking for a GMT watch and right now, the strongest contender is also CW Sealander C36, but with green dial. still looking around for any other options available in the market.

I will try to find a natural way to share my experience. If you haven’t seen my initial post, take a look. I was helped with so many great suggestions. The green one looks really great. But for me it was time to step up my white dial game.
