The only watches this really applies to are ST Seagull Chronographs, as most AE Qatches run on some variation of the NH34-38 movements, Myota movements or Pt5000. All of these should be easy to deal with by any watchmaker/servicee worth their 2 cents

I am actually wearing a Pagani Design Right now. At first glance, its an obvious Tudor Ranger Homage, but if one looks more closely, one discovers the polished Bezel and is intrigued by the 36mm case. A bit of research reveals that the case is actually an attempt at a Vintage Rolex Airking Homage. Thos Pairing of two original watch styles marks the first step toward Originality from Pagani, and is one I can very much appreciate! After all, taking existing Designs and reinterpreting them ha been a part of watchmaking since always. Think the 369 Explorer type dial, or the Tissot Prx. Pagani has infact made a Vintage Rolex Airking dial homage that is, in my estimation, reimagined to an extent that it can be called Original.

Most watch company's started out making Homages. Even the Kings of Marketing, Rolex, did not have many Original contributions to make when they started out, instead opting for taking already existing innovations amd Packaging them into products that where Fairly priced considerimg their Quality.

As far as I am concerned, chinese Watchmakers like Cadisen, Pagani, San Martin and Baltany are basically doing the same, as they are finally dipping their toes in designing watches that simply aren't exactly homages.
