Bought this hoping that I could drop in my seiko solar 5k65 gmt movement (doesn’t fit). Instead of returning it, I’m thinking this would be a good opportunity for me to build my first mechanical mod. Let’s see what happens in the coming months

Is this from the Feiyashi AE store? Interested to see how it turns out. Looks a lot like the Rdunae case, but with the crown @ 3.8 instead of 4, which would be much more adaptable.

Yep it's from the Feiyashi shop! Have you built one of these out before?

No, but I have looked at them before. It's very similar to a watch I bought by Rdunae (that I happen to be wearing today), except mine appears to have a true 4:00 crown. The 3.8 crown case is so much easier for matching up day/date wheels, and dial feet. 👍

Oh yeah, I'm sure whatever you come up with will look good. It's a great case shape.
