So what do you get if you cross a Rolex Oyster Perpetual with a Vacheron Constantin Offshore?

It sounds like a joke but this newly released Tsuyosa by Citizen has a face of an OP down to the double indices at 6 o'clock and the cyclops window.  The bracelet has a bit of Rolex President inspiration as well.  Now the case shape screams Offshore to me.  It respects it's Swiss inspiration by using an in house movement.  It is from Miyota which is owned by Citizen.  Should Rolex or Vacheron insist on a DNA test they will be releived to know that there is no way they are responsible for an offspring that costs in the low $300.00s and is 100% Japanese.

Integrated bracelet…yikes!

I think it was a smart move, lots of people want the luxury watch looks but can't/won't spend the money. Citizen is a brand people know about even if they aren't "into" watches, so when people decide they want that look, Citizen is a safe way to get it.

I don't like the look, so I won't be getting one myself.

With so many beautiful and affordable dress watches from brands like Citizen, Orient, Seiko etc. there is no reason to ever wear a suit with your dive or field watch unless you want to.

If they look anywhere as good in person as they do in photos, citizen has a real dresskx competitor on its hands.

The one negative of course, is the fact that the integrated bracelet means the vaunted Seiko 5 customizability won't be matched.

I suspect the watch isn't made for enthusiasts at all, rather for ordinary people who don't buy different straps for their watches.

💯 in agreement.  Responding mostly from the perspective of an enthusiast.

Does anyone know the dimensions of these?  I've been seeing 40mm diameter x 48mm lug to lug x 12.5mm.height but didn't know if anyone could confirm.

This was all I could get.  Sorry there is no lug to lug distance.

Are these going to be available in the US?

The yellow dial one is so great looking! Trying to hold off until they're officially available in the US, but there are a number of Chrono24 listings that aren't too outrageous markup-wise.
