I like aspects of all three eras and all singers tbh, isnโt it great that they reinvented themselves a few times over rather than just standing still? They gave us 3 almost entirely different bands at the time. Speaking of Dio, their comeback as Heaven & Hell was fantastic.

Yeah, its clear to me they were an inspiration for many of the bands throughout the years. Even though metal started to play faster in the 80s you can still tell the influences often come from Sabbaths heavy bluesy riffs. ๐ค๐ป
