I need to pick out a new strap. The stock leather one is too nice and delicate to wear.
I need to come up with a different strap for this, I don’t know why anybody gives you a leather band for a dive watch? 🙄I mean it’s really nice…… Handmade Italian strap but……it’s gonna get destroyed if it gets wet a few times….. which is pretty much what happens to all of my watches. Anyway, as you can see, I have several options I will post my favorites and you can help me pick the winner.

I’m a DJT loving watch whore…… deal with it! I’ve been collecting since 1999. I should say even before than that but only seriously from that point.

Check out TDC straps or google waterproof leather straps. Used to have one for my Panerai - kodiak leather great for water use.

Not for nothing bra, even the best leather bands just don’t cut it in South Florida especially during the summer. If you’re wearing it all day, it’s either gonna get wet or you’re going to sweat. Even the best leather straps start to stink after a while.

Go rubber strap. My kodiak never had an issue

I completely forgot I have an original Anonimo rubber dive strap that came with my first Nautilo(That one was dark with green trim). And even though they included this, it just didn’t go as well as the other Strap that it came with!
This looks like it should’ve been on there in the first place. It’s a perfect match.!

Dude, I literally just came across & attached this Anonimo branded rubber strap.

I could go and try and a bunch of different bands. It would probably find some that look really good too but I don’t think I’m gonna find anything better than this OEM Rubber strap.
I also found this leather NATO that is the same color as the original Italian leather strap. I think it would look good too, but it’s not going to look as good as this OME rubber strap. You know it when you see it…..😉
No to nato, not my fave straps. Yes to rubber or silicone then if needing active style material.
