Saw a wristwatch on my grandfather's wrist that looked cool. I started window shopping on the Miracle Mile in Chicago
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
It had Mickey on the dial. I loved it and lost it. My first watch I picked out was a gold tone quartz Bulova on a leather strap.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Oh man, so many of my watches have a story that is interesting to me. I also gift watches - those stories are better in my opinion. I recently gifted a park ranger a Smokey the Bear Watch! That ranger wears it daily greeting campers and hikers every day.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Try on a watch before you buy it. There is no rush to grow a collection. Never go into debt or make payments on a watch = cash only. Wear what makes you happy
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
