Thank you kindly! It's been a long journey (as you can imagine) but I'm beyond happy to have it in my collection. Also new watch box arrives tomorrow, so now I'll be able to stare at them all day 😂

Congratulations! Such a beautiful watch. The red text makes it an underrated sleeper hit. Aesthetically, it looks better to me than the Submariner.

Very much appreciated 👍 I've tried the Deep Sea, and the James Cameron edition has a gorgeous dial, but the biggest difference I noticed between the Sea Dweller and the Deep Sea is the thickness. I hope you get your hands on both so you can try them on and compare 🤝

2. Haha, yeah that hits my ear differently as well. I think it's more of a subconscious thing, but I also think it's related to the general watch culture that's been building up over the past 5 years or so. Specifically, you see YouTubers talking about "picked up another Rolex" and that phrase is delivered the same way I'd say "stopped at the market and decided to get another loaf of bread, no biggie" and I'm just like WHOA hold on a second, that's a lot of coin to drop. I'm not saying have a massive fanfare for it, but you know, it's no small feat either. So "my first Rolex" is more charged with "so it's been a long road leading up to this, I'm over the moon, I'm excited, I'd like to share my joy with fellow watch nerds, come check it out!" sort of like the first car you got as a young driver, you'd be beaming to your friends like "LOOK AT THIS THING, HOW AWESOME, OK LET'S GO FOR A DRIVE!" sort of thing 😀
