Reviewing the crown jewel of my collection 👑

I’ve been wanting to get into creating more watch content and this is my first attempt at a “proper” review. Naturally it had to be on my pride and joy, the 2020 Breitling Navitimer B01 Legacy Edition!

One thing that’s always surprising to me is that almost no one knows of this Breitling release. Truth be told there was basically no marketing done, and I found out about this watch from a friend that works at the NYC Flagship Boutique. Still, you’d think given the split between Breitling enthusiasts as far as “winged logo VS. B logo VS. AOPA logo” that the marketing team would put something out to announce/celebrate/inform the watch enthusiasts. In any (watch) case 😄 I hope you enjoy my video 👍 comments and active discussions are welcomed!

Thanks for the review and love the watch.  Long term Breitling fan here and I own a couple of older releases from the mid to late 2000's.

Thanks for watching! I love all models, Breitling has a distinct “look” that has changed over the decades but so much so that you can actually date them by era 😄

Which models do you own and which is your favorite? I’m currently working hard to stop myself from adding a Superocean 42 to my collection (previous gen not the new ones that were released a few days ago)

I own a 2002 Montbrillant Datora (white) and 2010 Super Avenger (black).  I wore the Montbrillant so much my staff dubbed it: "The Sundial."  My first good watch was a "Top Time" (1976) rare black and orange which I completely smashed in a bicycle accident.  Over the years I've owned others that I sadly sold when I reorganized and re-focused my collection.

The Datora is a gorgeous timepiece! Sad to hear about the 76 Top Time. Is it beyond repair? The new ones are nice as well, especially the tuxedo, they’re priced well too.

The watch was smashed in 1976 right after receiving it, like within weeks.  About 20 years ago my mother produced a ziplock bag containing the smashed watch and pieces.  I had the watch restored and upon receiving it back I realized it was boy size, much to small for my large wrists.  I gifted it to my nephew and he wears it.

Wow, what a beautiful story and journey for that little watch! Well done good sir 👏
