In today's video we have an exciting head to head watch battle between two budget friendly field watches - the Seiko SRPG29 and the Timex Expedition North Mechanical Field Watch. Both of these watches have a lot of similarities and come in around the $200 price point so this makes for a great watch comparison!

I own a similar version of that Seiko and a couple of Timexes with that handwinding movement. Based on the movement alone there is no way these watches are the least bit comparable. Especially at comparable prices.
If the Timex were125 instead of closer to 200 it might stand a chance.
Though we disagree-I did enjoy the video.
The solar version of the Timex is much better value, lower price, no battery change and most of all no worries about shoddy no name chinese movements.

Thanks for watching! I hear your points loud and clear! I agree the Timex is too expensive!
