Love at first sight
Saw this advertised on the YouTube. Couldn’t resist. I thought that I was pretty convinced that I didn’t need another purchase for a long while but then heart strings were pulled.
I have a deep love for a railroad minute track, and this sectored/separated rail track is new and unique to me, and I like it. Breaking up the track to insert the 24 hour Arabic’s, and then placing a bar of slightly camouflaged lume on the outside is a beautiful thing to me.
The numerals are lovely, and so is the handset—hollowed out and filled with lume.
I never thought of myself as a guy that would enjoy wearing gold tone, so it was a bit of a gamble before getting it on my wrist. How pleasant I have found being wrong this time. I love vintage, and have not dabbled in it yet because of my fears of them breaking before I get to enjoy them. Buying a modern spec’d watch with vintage aesthetic is exactly my jam.
Not the fanciest of collections. Just an amateur enthusiast, with a little interest in some things EDC as well. And tennis. And F1. And nature. And science.
It's a great looking watch! I am looking at adding one before the end of the year.
