Latest addition to the collection!
I have a preference for military watches...not just military-inspired but watches actually issued to military personnel.
In the 1960s Tudor Subs were issued to the US Navy and the French Marine Nationale, before the line was discontinued in favor of the Black Bay.
I've always wanted one and finally pulled the trigger today. I had both the 75090 and the 39mm 79090 side by side and knew the 36mm was the one for me. And of course, I wanted it in blue. 💙

Bloody hell that is one gorgeous watch. NOS buy? Congratulations.
I absolutely love it!
I’ve thought about acquiring a vintage Tudor Sub myself.
I’m hopeful they will surprise us with a modern version in the next couple of years.
Congratulations on a beautiful timepiece.
Sure has held up well against the test of time.

Don't know if that will ever happen. They do seem to be running out of ideas with their Black Bay line.

A few dings on the bezel (kinda adds to the charm, actually) but otherwise in excellent condition. Recently Serviced, too, so it's running pretty well (+1.7 sec per day).
lovely piece! congrats!
Siiiick. Not always a blue dial fan but this is beautiful.
