Vintage Ancre Xyntha dress watch.

This beautiful watch came my way yesterday. It is a mechanical 17 Jewel movement and 10mm thick. The design has an Art Deco feel to it in my opinion but it most probably dates to the 60s or 70s. It needs to be wound daily, and feels fully wound after only 10 turns of the crown. There is a lot of green gunk on the reverse

Does anyone know how best to remove it? Also, if anyone has any further information on Ancre as a brand, I would love to hear it. Edit : I just used my timegrapher app and this watch is vert poorly. 18000 BPH, +271 s/day, Beat Error 2.3ms.
