New addition Seiko "Kakume" 1976??
So I had a offer from my friend who re-sells watches. For me it's a one in a life time opportunity. A vintage Seiko, all original parts (supposedly), original bracelet (will change for something better), and in quite good condition. It got completely cleaned, tuned and one part was changed last week. Very thankful to my friend for this. Awesome time piece and real piece of history. Want to pair it with a blue leather strap.

Thank you very much. I got it for a very good deal. I knew about these watches but never got around getting one. My friend notified me that he had this piece, I got it for around 1k$ after it was taken apart and cleaned and put into an good state. Happy with the piece I do not like the bracelet, but for collection sake I have the original .

Awesome piece! Check out Uncle Seiko bracelets... that is where I found one for my 1972 Seiko 6139-6002.

I ended up getting a blue crocodile strap from Hirch. First I did not like the vintage look, but the dial grew on me. Might resell it which is why I bought it. Surprises in how good of a condition the watch is clean dial, almost no damage to the body. The other kakumes I saw on Chrono all look a bit f'd up
It would be a real shame to let that beauty go. 😢
