My coverage of the Windup Watch Fair SF

Overall, the experience was terrific. Obviously, the only liability was parking. Once we got over that hurdle, it was time to go!

As we entered, we did a solid walkthrough in the first floor, then a little more of a survey to the second floor. It was hella crowded! It was particularly crowded in the Farer, Vaer, Oris, and Christopher Ward.

The YouTube celebrity dude from Islander Watches was there. You have to see his offerings. Dude is a hard worker!

This Christopher Ward was the only GMT that was a traveler GMT after asking about other brands and their GMTs.

Some of the watch brands were a little pricey for me such as William Wood, Fortis, and Norqain. It’s pricey for me at this time, at least.

Anyway, the ones that I became most impressed with was Laco and Junghans.

I bought the Laco Augsburg 42mm with the show discount.

I just can’t justify buying a blue IWC flieger watch when Laco can give me the same simplicity and presence.

I also want to say thank you to all the vendors and attendees that said hello to Kobe! He had a lot of fun!

My only regret was not staying longer and doing more research on the watch bands. It’s pretty tough trying to get front and center in some of the booths. But just be courteous to others.

The Windup Watch Fair of San Francisco was worth the visit! We got a good workout out learning about all the watch vendors and their history. But it was so exhausting that InNOut Burger was the only remedy in the drive back home! Seeya👁

Very nice! I’m going tomorrow so hopefully crowds will be less. Last year was very busy on Saturday too.
