Mall Update In Watch Retail. Cartier Prices📈

Cartier: they are raising the prices on all their inventory. I was about to get the Santos De Cartier Large. It’s going up $300. It’s priced at $7750 now. But they will honor $7450. Oh well.

Omega: some good news here for Omega fans. My local CH JEWELLERS is given the pass to offer 15% off their retail on most Omega models. I asked about the Chronoscope and Seamaster 300. All 15% off. And a Tudor Black Bay Chrono black dial has arrived in that store as well. That’s my favorite Tudor chrono!

Nice balance from a Cartier price hike to an Omega discount.

Macy’s: speaking of discount, Macy’s has 25% off their watches pre-sale! Rado, Hamilton, and Baumé Mercier are all participating! Of course you can get your SEIKO!!!! for 25% off. Maybe I will get the Seiko Monster I’ve always wanted at a discount! Tissot will have a 25% plus 15% off! Great value for powermatic 80 movement dial!!!

Last but not least, I went to the Rolex AD. They have a new QR system and I signed up for a profile. They even offered me a piece that I denied since it was a precious metal one. Out of the sake of Rolex sensitivity, I won’t mention the piece(AU🧜🏼‍♂️)

That’s it for now, if you read this far, I definitely appreciate you! Please hit up a follow for more content….or random “gaurbaje” Seeya👁

Nice share. Malls are a great place to look and then buy elsewhere as I do not see why anyone would buy from most of the chains given the level of service (for most). I realize that for some it is the only place to buy or try on pieces, but for example; That SMP300 retails for $5300, or one could buy it on Jomashop for $4150 before discount codes and many other grays for under $4K with the same warranty, etc. Just about every brand is deeply discounted in that manner. The upside is a good AD will likely price match, but one’s experience may vary.

On the flip side, glad more folks are seeing the Tudor chronos in stock more frequently.

Thank you for the feedback. I am guilty of not bringing Jomashop into a factor for acquiring good deals. I’m still in the level of watch collecting where my experience with the brand and boutiques seem to be a fun exploration. A story to every piece counts for me. But that can change for sure.
