SF Bay Area Windup WatchFair PRE MEET UP?
Hi all!
Not sure how many will be attending the Windup WatchFair here in SF Bay Area but I want to gauge out if anybody is down to do a meet up either the Friday (night) or even Saturday evening after the event?!
Im planning to head to either Saturday or Sunday show but figured maybe locals and or visitors would like to do a cool little meet up at either a restaurant or bar/lounge!
@TheSharperTheBetter and myself hosted an event back in November via Cars, Coffee and Chrono which was awesome. Would like to do either monthly or quarterly meets here in the SF Bay Area!

Cars, Coffee, drive thru the redwood skyline 4 corners in the peninsula.

I love it! I hope I can make it, hard to tell the future in my house, but for now I’ll try to keep that open.
I’ll at least be at the event for a couple hours, as for a meet up it’s too early to call. If you put something together in the city I’m pretty likely to take the day off and come say hi.
It's my busy season but I'll definitely try to make the event earlyish on Friday. My weekends get very busy these days with young kiddos but I think I can sneak away for a Friday afternoon of watch fun.
Totally up for it, need to clear it with the war department.

Tentative for me! Can't commit at this point, but I'll have a better idea closer to the event
Gonna try and time my bi weekly trip into the office to spend a few hours on Friday, but can't really stay until closing as I have to catch the 2 hour train ride back to the burbs.
Pencil me in for either Friday or Sunday. Saturday is rough and I probably can’t make that. But either way it’ll be an awesome show! We can all swing by the Swatch store to harass them into selling Moonswatches! 😂
In theory this would be an ideal idea:
Burlingame / San Mateo location
April 28th Friday
Dinner at restaurant / lounge
Chose the location specifically since it’s close enough to San Francisco for those staying in the city for the event but also convenient for locals who might not be a fan of driving into the city. The town of Burlingame and or San Mateo is very posh/safe for anyone worrying about watches/ meets etc.
Anybody have other suggestion or plan?
You guys have fun! I had a blast at Windup Chicago last year, went to the WatchCrunch meetup the night before the fair started and got to meet a ton of cool people. This year I think I'm going to the NY show because the number of vendors is higher and my girlfriend likes NY more than Chicago (which makes me sad because I lived in Chicago for five years from 07-12).
I'm definitely there for the weekend juggling a few events but would love to meet up if possible.
Flight and lodging booked! Arriving Friday afternoon, departing Monday morning so I'm good to meet up whenever wherever when the details firm up.

There’s possibility of a meetup in the city on Friday the 28th at 7ish after the event perhaps, but don’t quote me on that yet.
